  How does the PowerPoint
interface work?
 

At this point, the PowerPoint window should be open and you should see a blank slide, with a few slide icons down the left-hand side, something like this:

 

 
 
 

 

The PowerPoint window is divided into different areas, each with its own function. In this section, you will learn about these interface elements and find out what each of them is for.
