What are students
allowed to use?

Under the Fair Use Guidelines, students may use portions of lawfully acquired copyrighted works in their academic multimedia projects, as long as proper attribution and citations are provided. Students also may retain these works in their personal portfolios as examples of their academic work for later appropriate use such as job and graduate school applications.
