IIT Partnering Opportunities

The IIT engages in strategic partnerships with certain corporations to provide both an educational opportunity for our students and to fulfill the needs of corporations looking for technology-based or research-based solutions to their training requirements. These partnerships are a unique opportunity for an organization to utilize experts in the field of instructional design and multimedia. The IIT partners benefit by obtaining cost effective multimedia training, expert consulting, access to our students, in-depth industry research, and product development services. The IIT benefits through monetary and equipment contributions of the partners.

 

Our Partners Include:

Get Thinking provides clients with instructionally sound, engaging communications solutions, meticulously tailored to meet their business needs and budgetary goals. Judiciously applying appropriate technology, we design and develop interactive products that work in harmony with the way people process, use, and learn information.

 

Eduneering, a state-of-the-art, New Jersey-based web-development and training company so strongly believes in the program that they have pledged a gift of $50,000 to our endowment fund and provided us with a copy of their web development software. In return, the IIT provides Eduneering with practical research and development work in area of web-based instruction.

CIGNA HealthCare has entered into an agreement to become a corporate sponsor of the IIT. CIGNA has pledged financial support for Graduate Assistants to help conduct reseach in the area of e-learning. CIGNA has also contracted with the IIT to have the IIT conduct several workshops on designing web-based instruction. CIGNA, a leader in the health care industry, is undertaking a large iniative to convert most of its existing stand-up training to a web-based delivery format.

Click2Learn.com, formerly Asymetrix, has become an IIT corporate sponsor. Click2Learn.com provides an exciting web portal for clients as well as interactive e-learning development tools. These tools have been donated to the IIT to help keep our students current on the latest e-learning tools in the market. Students are given free access to these state-of-the-art tools for developing efficient and effective instruction via the web.
