Overview

Overview (IIT) The Institute for Interactive Technologies (IIT) is a unique agency that provides consulting, training, and multimedia development services to Bloomsburg University, corporations, government agencies, and other educational institutions. Since its inception in 1985, the IIT has presented numerous workshops on topics including authoring tools, software development and instructional design. The IIT has also developed a number of multimedia-based solutions to meet the needs of the client in educational, governmental, and corporate environments. Some of these titles have been marketed nationally.

The IIT is a consortium of faculty, staff, and graduate students in Bloomsburg University's Department of Instructional Technology program. This strategic relationship offers students practical hands-on experiences as they apply theoretical knowledge learned in the InstructionalTechnology program to real-life projects being designed by the IIT and, at the same time, fosters the development of effective and innovative instructional solutions.
