Mission/Goals (IIT)
The Bloomsburg University Institute for interactive Technologies will perform services and activities in order to help others realize the full benefits of how emerging interactive technologies enhance educational and training systems.
Goals of the IIT
- Improve university teaching by soliciting and encouraging the use of interactive activities to enhance and supplement classroom instruction.
- Establish a consortium of partnerships with business, industry, state government, and educational institutions, serving as an interactive technology recourse center.
- Support students in the Department of Instructional Technology program by continuing to offer graduate assistants real-life employment opportunities.
- Pursue funding to conduct research and development in instructional technology.
