Advanced Instructional Design
Students in Advanced Instructional Design (57.551) work in teams of 4 to 5 to address a real world instructional problem. Each team works with a client from a community organization (school, hospital, museum, library, etc) to design, develop, evaluate, and deliver an instructional technology solution to meet their needs.
The students gain skills in the instructional design process, project management, teamwork, and working with a real client. The client also benefits from their participation by receiving an instructional technology solution to their problem at no charge.
The Advanced Instructional Design course has been providing this service since the Fall of 1993. |
