Interface

 

Video editing in general follows a logical sequence of steps. The VideoStudio interface tries to mimic this sequence as best as possible.

 

Work areas

Modules buttons appear at the top of the screen in the order in which video editing is generally executed. They are

  • Start
  • Capture
  • Storyboard
  • Effects
  • Titles
  • Voice
  • Music
  • Finish

Options area : different option depending on the module.

Preview area : view your video clips

Storyboard/Timeline area : Clips, Clips information, visually& intuitively manipulate clips

Libraries - Changes depending on the module. Video, Audio, Color stills, effects, filters

Menu button = Global menu for various technical settings

       
Trimming Controls Below are the important trimming controls you will use to preview a clip, scroll through a clip, and trim a clip.
