Here is an exercise which helps you to become familiar with opening a new PowerPoint XP presentation and also beginning to learn some of its basic text options.

Complete the following activities that deal with opening a new slide show and also adding and formatting text, bullets and numbering, and using the spell check function.

  1. Open up PowerPoint XP.
  2. Choose a Design Template.
  3. Choose a Slide Layout.
  4. Add text to atleast 3 slides.
  5. Manipulate your text to create a bulleted or numbered list.
  6. Perform a spell check on all of your text.
