What is a |
PowerPoint
is a tool for creating computer-based slide shows. These can be used for
presentations, demonstrations, or web-based slide shows. A PowerPoint
document is the computer file which contains the slide show, including
graphics, animations, and sound (if any), as well as speaker notes.

How do I create |
To create a new PowerPoint presentation, follow these steps. 1) Launch the PowerPoint application. You can do this in one of several ways; here are some of the most common. - Choose PowerPoint from the Start menu:

- Click on the PowerPoint icon on the task bar: |

- Double-click the shortcut on your desktop: |

Once PowerPoint has launched, you will see the New Presentation Menu is on the right of the screen and looks like this: |

2) Choose one of the four options, then click OK:
When creating a new presentation, you will usually want to choose the Design Template option. |
