Lesson Overview


The first step prior to designing training is to determine what the actual performance problems are, and what solutions should be considered. This is done during the Needs Analysis. For training to be an effective solution, it must address the correct problem.

  • Describe six categories of needs and the associated data sources.
  • Describe four types of performance problems and the associated solutions.
