Outstanding Teaching Award

Dear Graduating Student (December 2009),

Thank you for taking the time to nominate the one Outstanding Professor you have had at BU who has had a significant impact on your learning. The award acknowledges teaching effectiveness.

• Only one professor can be nominated by each graduating senior.
• Any professor from any course (general education, electives, content major) throughout the time you have been at BU.
• You must write a narrative on why this person is deserving of the award as it relates to his or her effectiveness as a teacher.
• Your nomination will be kept confidential ; only reviewed by TALE committee.
• Due no later than December 11,2009 at 4 PM .

Note: all nominations from December 2009 graduates are combined with the nominations from the May and August 2010 graduates. The professors who are selected to receive the award will be announced at the May 2010 commencement ceremonies.
