Navigation
To navigate through
the pages:
-
Look for the pointing
cursor to appear over text, images and buttons.
-
Next, "double click" on
the left mouse button, bringing you to your desired page.
-
Note that there are text
links in the color red on the site map at
the bottom of each page.
Inserting Text
To insert text:
-
Open Netscape Composer.
-
Open file that will be
used as template by clicking on the Open icon in the toolbar at the top
of the screen.

Using the mouse, place
the cursor on the page where you want to type and click the left mouse
button once.
-
You may need to use the
enter key or the spacebar to move the cursor to the desired spot on the
page.

Finally, start typing
your text.
Inserting Images
To insert an image:
-
First save the image you
want either on the computer’s desktop or in a folder on the hard drive.

Using the mouse, place
the cursor on the screen where the image should appear.

Click on the Image icon
in the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Select "Choose File" from
the image properties box.
-
This will bring up a menu
box that will allow you to choose a file and image to import.

Select the image file
that contains the image to be imported and click on the open button.

Click on the OK button
of the image properties box.

The image's position on
the screen can be shifted by using the space bar or delete button.
Inserting links
To insert a hyperlink:
-
First make sure that the
image or text that you want to use is highlighted.

Next double click the
link icon with the link on the toolbar.
-
A menu pops up: click
"Choose file" to choose a file link or type in the URL of the page in the
text box.
